Demonstration Project - 1: Hainan Power Grid Fufeng Phase I Line Capacity Expansion and Renovation Project
Voltage level: 220kV
Conductor specification: JLRX1/JFB-320/40 (ACMCC-320/40)
Total line length: 19km; Total conductor length: 60km
Since Fufeng Line 1 was put into operation on 3 July 2013, it has withstood the tests of Typhoon Utor (No.11), Typhoon Wutip (No.21), Typhoon Nari (No.25) and Typhoon Haiyan (No.30), and has been in safe operation. On 18 July 2014, Super Typhoon Rammasun (Category 17) hit Haikou, causing power outages and tripping of most transmission line towers in the area. However, the 220kV Fufeng Line 1 did not trip. After the super typhoon, Haikou Power Supply Bureau dispatched operators to climb the towers to inspect the conductors, clamps, accessories and other components, and no abnormalities were found.
Demonstration Project - 2: Mongolia National Grid and National Power Authority Projects
Due to its short circumference, smooth surface, light weight, high tension, high mechanical strength and excellent sag performance, ACMCC conductors are not prone to icing, which greatly reduces the risk of conductor breakage accidents caused by overload and icing. The main conductor projects in ice and snow areas are as follows:
Mongolia National Grid ACMCC-295/40 Line, 160km long, is a typical line in ultra-low temperature and heavy icing areas, with long-term low temperature of -40°C, voltage of 110kV and designed ice thickness of 20mm. Commissioning date: 1 June 2019
110kV ACMCC177/40 Line renovated by Poland Power Authority, with ice thickness of 19.2mm. Commissioning date: 20 December 2017

Model Project - 3: Batam Island, Indonesia
Voltage level: 220kV
Conductor specification: ACMCC-315/40
Line length: 2.478km
Total conductor length: 24.567km
The line is located near the equator. Intense ultraviolet radiation and highly corrosive seawater vapor have posed a severe test to the conductors. After nearly 3 years of service, no problems have occurred so far, and it is operating well.
Prototype Project - 4: Antenna Maintenance Project
The antenna maintenance project involves a valley antenna erected between the north and south peaks, with a height difference of about 200 to 300 meters between the north and south suspension points (higher in the north and lower in the south). The entire system consists of 36 suspension cables and a balancing system, with a span ranging from 2300m to 3300m and covering an area of approximately 10 square kilometers.
The requirements for the overhead lines in this project are as follows:
Maximum crossing length: 3300m;
Maximum tension: ≥700kN;
Maximum ice thickness: 50mm (extra-thick ice standard);
The product passed the type test of China Electric Power Research Institute in February 2021.
The product obtained certification from China Electricity Council in Beijing on 23 May 2021.
The product will be installed by the end of November 2021.
The steel wires used in this project are reported at home and abroad to have the largest tension, largest span and largest ice thickness resistance.
Demonstration Project - 5: Guangdong Power Grid 500kV Luobei A&B Lines Capacity Expansion and Renovation Project
Conductor specification: JLRX1/JF1B-300/40
Total conductor length: 14.3km
Commissioning date: December 2021
Demonstration Project - 6: Guizhou Hongxiang 1-Circuit 220kV Capacity Expansion and Renovation Project

Conductor specifications: JLRX1/JF1B-240/40, JLRX1/JF1B-345/50
Conductor lengths: 202.3km, 3km
Construction time: August 2020
Commissioning date: March 2021
Demonstration Project - 7: China Light & Power 400kV Hedda Lines Capacity Expansion and Renovation Project
Conductor specification: ACMCC-300/70
Construction time: May 2023
Commissioning date: June 2023
